Welcome to Shri Swami Samarth Sangeet Vidyalaya, your premier destination for music education in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, and Mumbai. Since our establishment in 1993, we've been dedicated to training both young enthusiasts and adults in vocals and instrumental music. Many of our students initially pursue music as a hobby and later transition into successful careers in the industry. Notably, celebrity children such as Siddharth and Shivam, sons of the esteemed singer/composer Padmashri Shankar Mahadevan, and Mrs. Mohini Surya Rau, aunt of the renowned cricketer VVS Laxman, have honed their skills with us.
At SSSSV, we focus on nurturing musical skills and providing platforms for our students to excel. Our success has led us to establish an "International Music Academy" under the flagship of Bandish Foundation. Through our International Music Academy (IMA), our students have showcased their talent in numerous stage shows, garnering praise and encouragement from esteemed celebrities. We are proud to continue our journey of knowledge dissemination and musical excellence.
The COVID-19 pandemic has reshaped the way we conduct music education. In response to these challenges, we have embraced digital tools such as Zoom, Skype, and Google Meet to offer online music lessons. Despite the ongoing vaccination efforts, virtual learning has become an integral part of our curriculum. We are committed to providing the best learning experience through our Online Music Lessons, supported by comprehensive learning materials, interactive sessions, and engaging activities. Our Founder
Dr. Vikram Parlikar, the founder of Shri Swami Samarth Sangeet Vidyalaya and Bandish Foundation’s International Music Academy, is a pioneer in the realm of music and alternative medicine. With the highest qualification in music, Sangeet Parangat, and an MD in Alternative Medicine, he has spent the past two decades utilizing music therapy to heal psychosomatic ailments. Dr. Parlikar's expertise in Indian Ragas has enabled him to effectively treat conditions such as heart trouble, diabetes, asthma, and hypertension, garnering international recognition for his workshops and contributions to the field of music therapy. As an esteemed educator since 1990, he has mentored numerous students, including the offspring of renowned figures like Padmashri Shankar Mahadevan and the aunt of cricket icon VVS Laxman, guiding them toward successful careers in the music industry while passing on his wealth of knowledge and experience.
